![]() ![]() There’s a nice balance of normalcy and mystery though if it bothers you, this one does some time jumps (present, eight years later, back again and on it goes). It doesn’t change who he is or what he does. Some of the “getting there” explanations are a little sketchy (like why does Nick suddenly believe there’s more to Katie’s story?), but in the end, it doesn’t really matter. The film may not paint the healthiest of pictures (though we like to hope a good future for the character), however I do sympathize with Anna and understand why she does what she ultimately does.Īll in all, Hidden in Plain Sight is a pretty good 90-minute mystery. I’ve seen films WAY more intense than this, however there is murder and a chase through the woods, too. It’s got some tense moments depending on your level of tolerance. It’s especially good for those who aren’t into high intensity thrills but now and then enjoy a mystery. However I did realize that wasn’t true and so finally, not knowing anything about this, I did give it a chance.įor the most part, this is a pretty good film.
